Interested in how trade works in practice? Excited to develop personal, professional and academic skills in a social and low-stake environment? Join us for our Introduction Event: Trade in Practice!
We will kick things off with a fun icebreaker to help you connect with like-minded students. Afterward, we will introduce you to what Economics Society is all about and dive into an engaging, interactive trade simulation.
In this activity, you will split into groups representing four countries, each striving to meet the threshold for survival through strategic trade negotiations. It is a chance to experience the challenges and strategies of global trade firsthand!
Enjoy snacks and drinks throughout the event as you learn, connect, and have fun.
