'Rocks' is a vibrant, insightful, and deeply empathetic tale of girlhood and unconditional love. It tells the story of a teenage girl forging her identity in a hostile world.
Following her mother’s abrupt departure, the dynamic and determined teen Shola (played by Bukky Bakray) goes to extraordinary lengths to protect and provide for her younger brother Emmanuel. The film has received widespread praise from critics and audiences, who have described ‘Rocks’ as empowering, uplifting, joyous, heart-breaking and life affirming.
